In their Visage form, Dracthyr Evokers look awesome in the Tier Set. However, when taking their Dracthyr form, everything but the shoulder pads and belt disappear, resulting in a rather disappointing and awkward appearance. As one might expect, players were not happy.

Like in past expansions, tier sets are powerful armor sets that give your character a significant boost for DPS, HPS, or tanking abilities. Once you get 2 tier set pieces, you unlock the first bonus, which changes or upgrades one of your spec key abilities.

Fighting from moderate range, Evokers unleash scorching breath attacks and use the power of the red and blue dragonflight to overwhelm foes. Evokers enjoy superior mobility stemming from their draconic powers, soaring over the battlefield and raining death from above.

Evokers are a Hero Class and always start at level 58 in their own dedicated starting area, the The Forbidden Reach.

Requierements. To start the Dragonflight intro questline, your character must have reached at least Level 60. Once you've reached this level, the quest will become available to you.

The Catalyst allows you to convert this season and past seasons items into corresponding tier sets. While most gear from PvP, Mythic+ dungeons, raids, and the Great Vault can be converted, some items may not be eligible. This includes, but is not limited to, crafted gear, faction reputation items, and quest rewards.

Important Facts About Dracthyr and Evokers

Only the new Dracthyr race can be Evokers -- and Evoker is the only class choice available to Dracthyr at this point. Since Evoker powers use inherent abilities of the Dragonflights, it makes sense that this would remain a race-bound class.

Specializing as either a damage-dealer or a healer, it's a fun class with a lot of mobility and utility, a relatively streamlined set of skills, and some interesting tweaks that make it feel punchier, and mildly more modern, to play than many WoW classes.

Devastation is the Evoker spec to play for leveling, and it is very strong for questing.

Is Evoker weak? ›

Squishy - Evoker is weak in the defensive department compared to other ranged DPS classes. We only have 1 real defensive, which is Obsidian Scales. Besides that, we also have the ability Renewing Blaze, which can provide great self healing for damage over time but won't prevent you from getting oneshot by big hits.

Devastation Evoker is a mid-range caster DPS and has a range of 25 yards for their abilities. There is a good amount of depth in the talent tree to allow you to specialize for Single Target, Cleave, and AoE combat scenarios.

Evoker is a mail-wearing Healer or RDPS. They can equip Daggers, Staves, Fist Weapons, One-Handed Swords, One-Handed Axes, and One-Handed Maces. They can also use off-hand items, but cannot dual wield.

Once the trial period is over you may continue to play your characters as normal, but you must upgrade your account with the Dragonflight expansion to continue playing your Dracthyr Evoker. Note: This promotion not available for Wrath and WoW Classic, or WoW accounts that have never had game time.

In World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, weapons like Kharnalex, the First Light is best-in-slot. It's currently the best weapon for Dracthyr Evokers, and they are also the only ones who can wield it. It can be a little difficult to pick up, but it is easily the most powerful weapon in the game for the Evoker class.

Crafted Reagents and consumable items will have 3 different qualities. Higher quality equipment will have higher ilvl, while higher quality consumables will give you more stat or last longer.
