Like all rings, platinum rings can break or bend if they receive impact. However, platinum is very malleable, and our jewelers can repair most out-of-round, bent, or broken platinum rings.
Platinum develops a patina over time with normal wear and tear. This happens more quickly than white gold, which is more scratch resistant than platinum (although white gold is not as durable. See Platinum vs White Gold for more information.).
