At the request of the majority of performers and shows, who do not allow any duplication of their performances, cameras are prohibited at Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

It is common practice that children under the age of four years old are generally not permitted in the theaters, but children of all ages are permitted at designated family performances at Al Hirschfeld Theatre. All children must be seated with an adult.

Soft drinks, water, co*cktails and candy are all available to buy, but food and drink are not permitted inside the theatre.

The Al Hirschfeld Theater lobby typically opens 45 mins prior to curtain, and it is recommended that guests arrive at least 15 minutes before the performance is due to start.

Al Hirschfeld Theatre does not have a dress code, as the type of performances offered varies greatly. Anything from formal wear to smart casual would be appropriate, depending on the performance.
