What is Target Circle and how does it work? ›

Target Circle is the free and easy way to get the most deals at Target. When you become a Target Circle member for free, you'll: Get access to deals automatically applied at checkout. Earn Target Circle Rewards and save with personalized deals.

One of Target Circle's best perks is the opportunity to get 1% back on in store purchases, which you can track in the Target app. As the earnings accumulate, you'll eventually have enough store credit to use on another purchase at Target. It's the gift that keeps on giving!

We'll be removing the 1% earnings. As we evolve the Target Circle™ experience we're reprioritizing to focus on access to automatic deals, personalized bonuses and much more. Your current amounts won't be impacted.

As you can see, Target Circle and the Target RedCard are not the same thing. While both offer access to exclusive Target perks, Target RedCard is a credit card with substantial cash back benefits, while Target Circle is a loyalty program that's especially useful for people who enjoy finding deals.

Birthday gift of 5% off your purchase. Digital coupons for specific store categories — 20% off baby clothes, for example, and 10% off beauty products. Personalized bonus offers — for example, you may get a deal that lets you make two qualifying purchases of $60 or more to earn a $10 reward in Target Circle earnings.

What is Target Circle Week? Target's spring Circle Week sale offers markdowns across its entire site between April 7 and April 13, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. You can save on home essentials, kitchen appliances, fashion, and more when you sign up for the loyalty program online or through the retailer's app.

Target Circle is the retailer's loyalty program, which lets you earn 1% cash back on all your purchases at Target (more if you have the Target credit card). The program includes personalized offers and digital coupons that you wouldn't normally get without being a Circle member.

Target Circle – Target will continue offering its popular free-to-join membership with personalized deals, member-exclusive sales throughout the year and additional perks and savings.

What changed about the target circle? ›

The traditional Circle program will remain free, and you'll still rack up points and deals the more you shop. The brand is folding its Target RedCards into a new Target Circle Card, which will offer members an extra 5% off every day, and that's on top of the Target Circle deals automatically applied to your cart.

5% discount does not apply to the following:

Previous purchases. Target credit account payments, Target Circle Card Account cash reloads, Target Debit Card cash back and cash advances on the Target Mastercard. Shipt and Target Circle 360™ membership fees.

However, I'm a firm believer that the free Target Circle membership is a must, even for casual Target shoppers. It gives me instant deals and cash back and has been one of my favorite store-rewards programs since it launched. So far this year, I've saved over $55 through the program by shopping sales and deals.

If items that earned Target Circle Rewards are returned, the associated Target Circle Rewards may be removed from your Target Circle Rewards balance. Target reserves the right to take your Target Circle Rewards to a negative balance (i.e., a balance in your account of less than zero Target Circle Rewards).

TARGET CORP. In March, executives reported that over 100 million people belonged to the retailer's Target Circle program in total. Target's retail footprint consists of nearly 2,000 stores. The company has said it is looking to increase that by over 300 locations in 10 years.

If Target is your favorite one-stop shop or your neighborhood big box retailer of choice, you've probably come full circle on the idea of paying for a Target Circle 360 membership. It's an especially good value if you can grab it for the first year at the promotional price or if you already have a Target credit card.
