Hate to break it you, but Kristin and Brody's relationship on the show was totally fake. Yes, even that emotional series finale scene when Kristin says goodbye to Brody before leaving town. During an appearance on Bethenny in December 2013, Kristin shocked fans when she revealed that Brody had been dating Playboy model Jayde Nicole throughout his entire time on the show. "I dated Brody when I was 18 right after Laguna Beach and that's it," she explained. "On the show, they had us dating for a few episodes . . . which wasn't real at all." Kristin began dating Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler in 2010, and three years later, they tied the knot in Nashville. They have three beautiful children together, sons Camden, 4, and Jax, 3, and daughter Saylor James, 1.
Following the show, Brody dated Avril Lavigne for nearly two years before calling it quits in 2012. In May 2016, he popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, blogger Kaitlynn Carter.
