How should you wash your socks?
John’s Mom believes the best way to wash your socks is inside out (and she’s rarely wrong). In general, here’s the best approach:
- Machine-wash
- Use a cold setting
- Use a gentle cycle
- No bleach (we want to keep those colors)
- Tumble dry at a low heat (or simply lay them out to dry)
Our manufacturers have provided specific washing and drying instructions. Follow these guidelines to ensure that your socks gets the most wear.
- Blue Q: Machine wash cold. Tumble dry medium heat.
- Camelhug: Hand wash in cold water. Hang to dry.
- Eros: Machine wash warm. Tumble dry low.
- Excell: Machine wash warm. Tumble dry low.
- Foot Traffic: Machine wash warm. Tumble dry low.
- Freaker: Machine wash cold. Tumble dry medium.
- Gumball Poodle: Machine wash cold. Hang to dry.
- Hot Sox: Machine wash cold with like colors. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach.
- Bell: Machine wash cold gentle cycle.
- Living Royal: Machine wash cold. Air dry. Do not use bleach.
- ModSock: Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low.
- Out of Print: Machine wash warm. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach.
- Sock It to Me: Machine wash cold. Hang to dry.
- Socksmith: Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not bleach.
- Solmate: Machine wash gentle. Line dry. Do not bleach.
- VIM&VIGR: Machine wash after each wear, cold water, delicate. Air dry.
