2000 – Silent Gig with Rocket Goldstar in Cardiff
Not wanting to miss out on the exciting headphone dance party craze,BBC Live Musicheld their ownsilent gig with Rocket Goldstaralong with a few DJs, in theChapter Arts Centrelocated inCardiff.
2002 – Silent Party at Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago)
InChicagoat theMuseum of Contemporary Art, an outdoor club was created where wireless headphones for silent disco were worn, so that the party goers could listen to the DJ performing.
The following year, the silent party developed and had two DJs performing against one another, allowing the audience to choose which DJ they would like to listen to.

Celebrity Big Brotherdidn’t want to miss out on the silent disco uprising, so in their 2016 series, Big Brother welcomed everyone to the house with asilent dance party.
