How do you fix the outfit glitch on Sims 4? ›

Remove ALL CC from the sim and the problem will stop. This includes skins, eyes, everything. You'll need to find out what's causing the glitch.

I had the same issue not being able to change clothes on a SIM. I cleared my cache, force stopped the app, changed the SIM to swim wear, then everyday clothes. Problem solved.

Fix 1: Make Sure Mods Are Enabled

In Sims 4, an option is provided to allow players to enable or disable the mods in game according to their needs. If this option is disabled, you will definitely experience Sims 4 mods not showing up issue. So, you should firstly check if mods are enabled in your Sims 4.

Strict Files Structure

Files structure of mods is extremely strict and putting mod files into too many folders will cause the game to not find them. If the files are two folders deep or more, you need to fix that! Keep WickedWhims files directly in the Mods folder! The limit is one folder deep!

Game updates disabled Sims CC and mods

Select Options to enter the Game Options menu. Go down to the Other tab, then make sure the Enable Custom Content and Mods box is green and checked. If not, apply changes. You'll also want to make sure your Script Mods Allowed box is green and checked.
