Metro Manila is beaming with premier shopping malls. Although the Philippines is a small country, several of its cities are filled with a large number of shopping malls of various sizes and designs. Shopping mall is in almost every city in the Philippines. While the country’s malls are heavily inspired by western countries, there are significant differences between each of them. Indeed, budget-conscious Filipinos prefer to satiate their retail and culinary needs at discount stores. However, there’s nothing wrong with a high-end mall shopping spree now and then. Developers are bringing in more world-class shops these days, knowing that such prestigious brands have a market. The Podium is a mixed-use development alongOrtigas Center, a major business and commercial district. As a joint project of Singaporean company Keppel Land and BDO Unibank, it was further constructed in December 2001 and officially opened in August 2002. Century City Mall is a shopping mall located in Makati, Metro Manila, within the Century City complex. The SM Aura Premier
SM Aura Premier is a large upscale shopping mall owned by SM Prime Holdings, the country’s largest mall developer. It islocated along Bonifacio Global City, Taguig Metro Manila. It is Metro Manila’s 13th SM Supermall and the Philippines’ 47th SM Prime mall. The name SM Aura Premier is derived from the elements gold (chemical symbol Au) and radium. The name represents “luxury and elegance that emanates from within,” according to SM Prime Holdings, Inc. The high-end mall features international and high-end fashion brands such as Calvin Klein, Uniqlo, NARS, and Forever21. There is also aSky Gardenon top with fountains where you can chill and eat al fresco. For moviegoers, SM Aura Premier has five state-of-the-art cinemas, including two regular cinemas with Dolby Atmos sound systems. On the fourth floor, there are two Director’s Club Cinemas and an IMAX theater. This is definitely a must-visit premium mall.
