David Baszucki
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
David Baszucki is the founder and CEO of Roblox. His vision is to build a platform that enables shared experiences among billions of users. The company has been widely recognized for its innovation and vision under Baszucki’s leadership.
TIME named Roblox one of the “100 Most Influential Companies,” and it has been recognized by Fast Company for innovation on their “Most Innovative Companies” and “Most Innovative Companies in Gaming” lists. Roblox was also recognized as an innovative workplace on Fast Company’s “Best Workplaces for Innovators” list and for its technical innovations on Fast Company’s “Innovation by Design” list.
Previously, David founded Knowledge Revolution, where he and his brother Greg created “Interactive Physics,” a leader in educational physics and mechanical design simulation software. David graduated from Stanford University as a General Motors Scholar in Electrical Engineering.
Manuel Bronstein
Chief Product Officer
Manuel Bronstein serves as Chief Product Officer at Roblox, leading our Product, Design, and Data Science organizations.
Manuel has spent over 20 years as a product leader in the consumer and entertainment spaces, most recently serving as Vice President of Product at Google, leading Google Assistant. Prior to that, Manuel was Vice President of Product at YouTube, overseeing the company’s mobile, desktop, and living room applications, as well as live streaming, growth, and community. He also led efforts to launch YouTube Kids, YouTube Music, and YouTube Games. Before YouTube, Manuel started his career in gaming holding several senior leadership positions at Zynga and Xbox.
Manuel holds a BS in Electronics Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar and an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
Mike Guthrie
Chief Financial Officer
Mike Guthrie serves as Chief Financial Officer at Roblox. He is scaling our business on a global level, defining our overall financial strategy; driving sustained, profitable growth; and securing new business opportunities. Mike leads Roblox’s finance, accounting, business & corporate development functions.
Prior to joining Roblox, he was the Chief Financial Officer of TrueCar, Inc. where he led the company through multiple rounds of private financing and spearheaded its initial public offering in 2014. Previously, he was a private equity investor at TPG and Garnett and Helfrich Capital where he focused on growth equity investing and middle market buyouts.
Mike graduated with an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
Matt Kaufman
Chief Safety Officer
Matt Kaufman serves as Chief Safety Officer at Roblox. He leads our Safety & Civility efforts, driving product, operational, and policy innovations that ensure Roblox is a safe platform for everyone, and bringing our vision of civil virtual spaces to life.
Matt has over 20 years of executive leadership experience, building highly successful marketplace platforms, enterprise SaaS applications, and large-scale multiplayer games for companies including Crunchbase, Oodle, edgeio, and There.com.
Matt earned a BS in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from UC Davis and an MS in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech.
