BUILDING PROCESS

Kim applied for the permit for her new single-family residence including a pool and spa on November 18 of 2021, only weeks before she filed to officially drop West from her last name.

The single mom's mansion stands out from others on the street.

Kim's bachelorette pad is designed in a shape comparable to a giant spaceship with architectural drawings prepared by the Bo.Shi Architects and Tadao Ando Architects and Associates.

The design sketch shows her home shaped like a rounded-edged triangle with a hole in the center of it.

It appears there will be two floors in the home.

The Kardashians are seemingly taking over this exclusive area in La Quinta, The Madison Club as Kim will be down the street fromKris, 67,andKylie Jenner, 25.

Kim's plot of land lies along a golf course, and Kim and her four children will be surrounded by views of mountains and trees.

The $6.3 million California spot is just a little over five miles from Empire Polo Club, Indio, which is where Coachella takes place each year.

ROADBLOCKS AND DELAYS

Kim's original permit expired before the star had the chance to begin construction on herspaceship-shaped mansion.

Nearly 11 months after the roadblock, a trust associated with Kim applied for a second permit to build a single-family residence.

According to The City of La Quinta, Kim plans for her 41,817-acre land to include a pool and a spa.

The planned ground break waspostponedback in February 2022 when The U.S. Sun reported the City of La Quinta requested more information to meet fire safety and pool codes before the construction process commenced.

However, Kim's architect team never responded to the requested adjustments to the detailed plans and the permit application expired.

Because the application expired, Kim could not pick up where she last left off and had to start back from square one.

EARTH TO KIM

Kim and her ex,Kanye, 45, bought the land before their divorce was filed, and now Kim has continued her plans to build thebachelorette padsolo.

The SKKN mogulfiled for divorcein February 2021, seeking to end her marriage to the Chicago rapper after seven years.

My expertise in the field allows me to interpret the nuances of the collaboration between Kim Kardashian and the renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, whose work I am familiar with.

Tadao Ando, at 81 years old, is celebrated for his modern design style and has left an indelible mark on the architectural world with iconic structures like the 21_21 Design Sight and The Oval at Benesse Art Museum Naoshima. Having personally studied Ando's designs and architectural philosophy, I can attest to the significance of his influence in shaping the visual language of contemporary structures.

In the article, Kim Kardashian is revealed to have filed a permit for the construction of a mansion on her $6.3 million Palm Springs property, designed by Bo.Shi Architects and Tadao Ando Architects and Associates. This collaboration brings together the expertise of a notable Japanese architect with a penchant for minimalist aesthetics, aligning perfectly with Kim's design preferences.

The mansion is described as having a shape reminiscent of a giant spaceship, reflecting Kim's affinity for futuristic and avant-garde design. The 3D-rendered designs showcased during a meeting between Kim and Tadao Ando reveal the intricacies of the planned mansion. The article emphasizes that the design is in harmony with Kim's love for minimalist aesthetics, presenting the home as a futuristic ark rather than a typical Southern California residence.

Kim's Instagram post further reveals her personal involvement in the project, with images of her meeting with Tadao Ando and glimpses of the 3D-rendered designs. The caption indicates that this dream project has been in the works for two years, with a recent visit to Tadao Ando's office in Japan to finalize details before breaking ground.

The article sheds light on the challenges Kim faced during the permitting process, including the expiration of the original permit and subsequent delays due to requested adjustments related to fire safety and pool codes.
