Feel means to be aware of a physical or emotional sensation. Feel is most often used as a verb, meaning to physically touch or grope something or to be conscious of something emotionally.

The basic definition of the verb "feel" is to experience a physical sensation or an emotion. Some examples, "I felt awful today," "She must feel great after her jog." Now, let's look at the conjugations for this verb. Present, feel, feels.

It's a term originated by teenagers/twentysomethings in the late 2000's/early 2010's as a substitute for “feelings”. The phrase commonly used is to simply say “"All the feels”, which translates to “"This is so emotionally moving.”

She felt the fabric to see if it was wool. He felt a sudden pain in his leg. I felt someone tap my shoulder. Your ribs are bruised, but I don't feel any broken bones.

“How are you feeling?” shows interest in someone's health or well-being. It's another way to ask someone if they're okay, and check up on their physical and emotional state. Most people use this question to express concern for their loved ones, especially if they're going through a tough or stressful situation.

Besides “in my opinion", “In my experience”, or “to my mind", you could say, “I see the situation as…” or “My viewpoint is…”. More casually, you could say, “It seems to me that", “My take on this is”, “It sounds to me as if", or, my personal favourite, “I daresay that…”.

Feel, felt, felt, are irregular words having a similar second and third forms. Verbs are very important in a sentence expressing the present tense or the past tense depending upon the action in a sentence.

"I feel" statements communicate how a speaker feels to help minimize defensiveness and conflict in conversations. Using feeling statements can help people assert themselves while reducing hostility. These I-statements should state how the speaker is feeling, connect it to an issue, and offer a possible solution.

While emotions start as sensations in the body, feelings are generated from our thoughts about those emotions. Or in other words, feelings are how we interpret emotions and let them sink in. We use the word, "feel," for both physical and emotional states.
