- No, they’re completely separate universes.
- When does chapter 1 take place?
- Game chapter 1 takes place in July of 2016.
- Who’s Otto?
- Otto is the overseer of Schicksal and previously the main antagonist of the story.
- What’s a Herrscher?
- A Herrscher is a human chosen by the Honkai to wield powers and destroy humanity.
- Is Himeko dead?
- Himeko has been confirmed in Chapter 25 to be deceased.
- Is Fu Hua dead?
- Fu Hua has been confirmed as “not dead”.
- Where’s the real Kiana?
- Real Kiana’s identity and circ*mstances are revealed in Chapter 28.
- Is Ana real Kiana?
- No.
- Is Fu Hua the 8th Herrscher?
- No. The Being in Chapter 20 Act 3 is not Fu Hua. Fu Hua is what’s known as a “MANTIS”, which means she is part Honkai. She is not, however, a Herrscher. Same deal with Kevin.
- How come Bronya still has the powers of the Herrscher of Reason? Didn't Kevin steal its core?
- Kevin took the Gem of Desire, not the Core of Reason.
- Isn't Seele in the Sea of Quanta?
- No. She currently is with the Hyperion crew.
- Is Kiana Kaslana the 14th Herrscher?
- No.
- What happened to the Gem of Conquest?
- It no longer exists. Mei absorbed all the excess Honkai energy in Nagazora and in doing so also absorbed her rightful power from the gem. She has a core now instead.
- Is Kurikara Benares? What happened?
- No, Kurikara and Benares are entirely separate beings. Benares died shielding Mei in Nagazora and she "recycled" the body to form Kurikara. Benares itself is gone.
- What's with the capitalization of some characters' names?
- There are characters in the Previous Era which look exactly like characters in the Current Era. To differentiate, we put those Previous Era characters' names in caps (for example, Dr. MEI).
