Cash App Account Limits (2024)

Your Cash App account has limits for any money moving in or out of it. You can get higher limits by verifying your identity.

Sending and receiving limits

Before you verify your identity, you can send and receive up to $1,000 on a rolling 30-day period. There’s also a total account limit of $1,500.

If you don’t think you’ve reached that limit with your account, you may need to consolidate the numbers of accounts you’ve created.

Once you reach these limits, we’ll prompt you to verify your identity in-app. You can read more about our identity verification process here.

Balance limits

Your Cash App balance stores any funds you receive or add to your account. If you haven’t verified your identity, your balance limit is $1,000.

After verifying your identity, you’ll have an unlimited cash balance.
