Many valuable formulas. The WACC is an important rate.As it's used in financial management as well as financial reporting.Typically, companies with complex longterm investments uses WACC to evaluate projects/investments. Not so much in less complex investments. In financial reporting it often gets used as the discount rate when determining the value in use in assessing assets for impairment.

The compounded annually had to be raised to an exponent of one unknown variable representing the number of years. If you say "compounded annually" then it means it compounds once every year. So please check that formula well

All our governments, all our corporations have been managed by bad Excel sheets for decades already. Very few decisions are made by humans, bad Excel sheets will veto most human ideas. Now we are moving to management by ChatGPT. It can only be an improvement. Maybe it will fix some of those Excel formulas.Humans haven't held the steering wheel for a long time. Why is it so hard to stop dependency on fossil fuels? Bad Excel sheets. Why are we making progress in that, despite, albeit slow? Slightly improved Excel sheets. It's just hard to get everyone to update their sheets if they are paid not to.

How to use ChatGPT to turn the things you read into an investing masterclass 🤔 You can use ChatGPT to get more out of the financial articles you read, giving you a more nuanced understanding of complex economic concepts and making you a more informed investor.ChatGPT can help you better grasp concepts and terms, dig deeper into new information, think more critically, gain contextual understanding, explore practical applications, and see more clearly how things connect.Just keep in mind that ChatGPT is best used as a launching pad for your research, not as a final authority on your financial decisions.Read the full analysis on Wealthyhub in our Wealthyhood app!-Disclaimer: Capital at risk. Mistakes I have made this week:I was using Excel to find the sum of a range…and wrote it as =B2:B16. I got agitated wondering where I went wrong because I wasn’t getting the total. Turns out I forgot to add the SUM() function.I wrote the COUNT() function wrongly in a live environment. I read through the syntax but still didn’t work out. I turned to ChatGPT as last resort. It worked.I was faced with a stubborn date column in my Excel sheet. Even though it looked like a date, Excel didn’t read it as such. I thought my almighty formula - the CLEAN() function would come to my rescue but it just turned into some excel date serial codes instead. What worked??This formula I literally copied from ChatGPT again ….=IF(ISNUMBER(A1), A1, IF(ISERROR(DATEVALUE(A1)), "Not a Date", DATEVALUE(A1)))And it worked!!!!Why am I doing this? This is inspired by my amazing student Amy Fredua to lay it bare out there that we are not supposed to know everything. What we only need is how to move through it. I could have beat myself up on why I could forget a “simple” thing like the SUM function is the formula or “hey, who doesn’t know the COUNT function” type of self sabotage. What I did instead was to learn proactive ways to meeting my immediate need and asking for help. These don’t make you a weak person and less smart. It sets you far apart than you think.Remember, it’s totally okay to make mistakes.Just don’t sit in them.🔂 REPOST this to have someone in your network see this!📌 SAVE this! You might come back later.

When I first leaped into the entrepreneurial world many years ago, I ran into a lot of marketing that claimed they had the magic formula "to make 6 figures", "the one process you need to scale your business", "the manifestation daily practices that will bring in thousands of dollars". I sunk thousands of $$$$ into these magic formulas. So take a minute to read Celi Arias' post and save ourselves a bajillion dollars. #magicformula #pricing #operations #fractionalcoo
