Fashion designer Chris March, a "Project Runway" alum who went on to dress the likes of Beyoncé,Meryl Streepand Madonna, has died. He was 56.
Bravo confirmed March's death to USA TODAY onFriday,calling the costume designer a fan favorite among viewers and the fashion community. TMZwas the first to report his death.
Bravo personality Andy Cohen mourned March on Instagram, sharing a picture of the duo on his show late night talk show, "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen."
"This is how I’m going to remember Chris March, dressed as Lisa Vanderpump as I wear a Giggy costume he made for one of our first Halloween specials," Cohen wrote.
Cohen continued: "He designed for everyone from Beyoncé, Gaga, Madonna, Meryl, Prince and many legendary downtown drag queens (And Sonja Morgan!). He had a big booming laugh; he was a joy and delight.#RIP"

Marchfinished in 4th placeon Season 4 of the Bravo reality show in 2007 (Christian Siriano eventually won the season). March also appeared on "Project Runway All Stars" and "Project Runway: All-Star Challenge."
The designer has been battling health issues since suffering a severeaccident in his apartment in 2017, where he suffereda near-fatal fall that left him in a coma fortwo months, according to a GoFundMe page titled, "Chris March Medical Fund."
"This has been a long and extremely difficult journey, physically and emotionally. And I have a long way to go, just like Dorothy," March wrote in 2018, sharing that he suffered paralysis in his right arm, hand andboth legs below the knee.
Just months ago, March shared a health update on his GoFundMe page, revealing that he had "recently run into several setbacks in my recovery."
"I am…in need of leg braces, specialized physical therapy, a hearing aid, and a new living arrangement," he wrote. "Where I am now is unbearable and makes me anxious and depressed every day. I have considered suicide many times. I have tried my best to make strides. There is a long road of physical therapy ahead of me."
Despite the odds, March kept his spirits high.
"In the face of all my setbacks, I try to remain positive ... I try to add humor, glamour, and a little glitter to my world," he wrote.
